One Fine Day Hit and miss
Today I went to tante Ila's for some baking and dining. The baking part we didn't get to because we took too long to prepare (and eat) the brunch, then she went on preparing the dough for our next chocolate brioche and then it was time to get the dinner ready. As usual, whenever we see each other, we're telling stories of whatever happen. So I told them the stories from my visit to DC and NY. And then Oom Bill asked me if I had a chance to visit the Smithsonian. I did, I said. I also proceed to tell them about the security who (after talking for so long), gave me a map of Smithsonian mall, direction to a jazz club he insisted that I should visit, his phone number and his email. Then tante Ila burst out laughing... she said "he was hitting on you!"
Stupid me I never realized if anybody at all was hitting on me. Not that I'm attracted to that particular person, but this always been the story of my life. No wonder that I'm still single, huh?
